ACTIVITIES OPEN TO ALL: BUSINESS MEETING Join us for our monthly meeting with speakers and childcare provided. LUNCH BUNCH Join other moms and kids for lunchtime fun. BREAKFAST CLUB Drink a cup of coffee with other moms as the kids play. PARK DAYS Join other moms and kids for some fun in the local parks. MEMBERS ONLY ACTIVITIES: MOMS NIGHT OUT Join other MOMS out for a night of fun. PLAYGROUPS There are three different play-groups: Baby Playgroup - infant to beginning walkers Toddler Playgroup - walker to 2 1/2 Preschool Playgroup - 2 1/2 and up FUTURE EVENTS: MOMS NIGHT IN Come enjoy a night "in" with other moms. Enjoy an evening potluck and games in a volunteer's home. Lots of great laughs to be had. This is a well-attended event and a lot of fun. The MOMS Club was started in 1983 by an at-home mother in California looking for other at-home mothers to come together and support eachother. The MOMS Club soon spread to other cities and towns throughout the United States and today is even international. There are currently over 2,000 chapters totaling over 100,000 members in the United States alone! Today the MOMS Club is a support group for ALL stay at-home mothers regardless of previous employment, children's age, or parenting style. A group specifically for you, the mother-at-home, interested in the world around you wanting a variety of activities for you and your children. A wonderful way for you to meet other at home moms and a fun way for your children to meet other at-home children! The Greer/Greenville-East Chapter of the MOMS Club began in August of 2001. |
